i wanna learn to play the bass and i need to know what is a good beginner acoustic bass and how much it cost and how much would lessons be an hour, or weekly?

Just get an ELECTRIC …. you will go that way sooner or later anyhow . I would recommend a ” Short-scale” bass guitar for beginners. The frets are closer together .. It will be much easier to play . Go to a music store and try one. Some short scale bass guitars are the FENDER Mustang, an EPIPHONE EBO Bass , or any generic copy of the violin-shaped BEATLE BASS .If you got mega Bucks , just buy a HOFNER Beatle Bass.
